The Luma Express is a light-sensitive expression pedal that is not only super fun to play with but inspires creativity the moment you plug it in. The little lens on the top is extremely sensitive to light, controlling your expression parameter depending on how much or little light it sees. This means you can use your Luma Express as a regular expression pedal, lifting your foot on & off of it, or you can get creative! Stage lighting, strobe light, flashlight, your hand—whatever light or shadows you’ve got, it’ll react to them!

  • The Luma Express also has a large aluminum knob that is not only used to set the expression range, but using the “Mode” switch, it can also be used in place of the light-sensitive expression with your foot or fingers. The “Resistance” switch allows you to change the resistance range to make the Luma Express more compatible with more third party pedals (& an interior switch allows you to swap the Tip & Ring in case you’re pairing it with an older pedal). Compatible with all Hangman fx pedals as well as most other pedals.

    Each Luma Express and Switchbox pedal comes with a three foot 1/8” cable so you don’t have to worry about scavenging for an adapter (although you can still use the Luma Express on 1/4” expression inputs by using a standard 1/8” to 1/4” adapter).
